A two masted Schooner with a town crier as the figurehead the Herald is fast and well conditioned ship. Whilst it has limited cargo space the speed of the ship allows for more journeys to make up for the lower earning potential of each trip. The captain is a portly man call Hevlin who is anything but fast and well conditioned. His money appears to be ploughed back into the ship rather than his own decoration, wearing no jewellery and only plain, but good quality, clothes.
A balista sits on the aft of the upper deck, the only weaponry the ship itself has, but all the crew are armed with short swords and light crossbows and the speed of the vessel normally sufficient to avoid any trouble.
The cabins are fairly cramped, with bunks built into the side of the ship itself to make better use of the space as well as hooks to hang hammocks from. The Galley similarly has a long table which folds down from the wall leaving a long bench that the crew and passengers take turns using.
